Mixtape Trois

I got fam in town and I'm rocking out hard in Victoria Tomm night so I decided to be smart (what a stupid move), and stay home tonight. To make the best of it I threw together a little something something.

I put this bad boy together for a friends birthday and I wanted a more feel good funky, disco(y?), groovy feel. The track selection was inspired when I was blown away by some of  the Electro and House music being thrown down viciously in France and neighboring countries. FRΞNCH ΞXPRΞSS is accredited for some of these tracks. Remember this is for promotional use only, if you want some of the tracks let me know and I can point you in the right direction ;)

Now I see why Twitter is useful

on Wednesday, December 02, 2009 comments (0)

I'm throwing down 5 posts a day. If i'm not going to give a nice explanation of what the hell I'm leading you into, I may as well be using twitter. Indian Jones should have been my pseudo name clearly I was not thinking. Why? Because I'm uncovering music that your ears have been dying to be vibrated by.

Now Hey Champ is my latest find. They are allowing us to cop their album for free! These guys put a new meaning to chill. I don't want to categorize them, words have not been made yet to do that.

No More Mr. Nice Guy

on Wednesday, December 02, 2009 comments (0)

New mixtape mashup by Mr. Nice Guy.

Since I have yet to become stubborn in my dj'ing ways I'm still open to learn new techniques. See I'm always looking for better flowing mixing. I dissect away like a grade 10 science student dissecting a frog. Now that I found a great mash-up/frog I'm off to work.

Besides great song selection Morningstar did some great editing work of tracks. His transitions are that that extra bit crispy. He layers on some great samples and expands them out into their full blown tracks at the last second. The first 10 minutes need to be heard to appreciate what I be rambling on about.

You gots to click me to cop the real ish >>

for download

Now click the big arrow, it will lead to a link to download the whole album. The link itself is an image that is labeled "Download Now" (Step 1). The next page will have you wait 40 seconds then a link will appear (Step 2). I'm sorry there is no way around this wait time until I can afford to host all this on my own server.

Short YouTube Uploads

Links:
I realized I should spend some time on some of my hobbies. I have enjoyed DJing quietly for about a year. I will from time to time put up my mixes on here, YouTube, iLike and Facebook.

I threw together a couple mixes of newer music. The mixing is sub-par as I'm still learning but because the content is all new you shouldn't be bored in any way! Hope you like it. It's mostly electronic and house music purely for getting your boogie on.
